Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,
Hope you are all in the best of health. This is to bring to your kind notice that 5 year old Fathima Sumaiyya Asakkan of Ikkirigollawa, Anuradhapura is deaf and unable to hear. Doctor Devanand Jha of Appolo Hospital, Colombo advise her to undergo a cochlear implant surgery which costs Rs. 2.8 million. Her father, Mr. Ismail Asakkan has no fixed job and does odd jobs to meet this amount. In the process, he has managed to sell his existing property(house) . With the task of feeding his 3 children and wife, he has toiled hard for years, trying to earn this amount. He has earned Rs. 2.4 million upto now.Alhamdulillah.
Now all he needs is Rs 0.4 million (4 lakhs). He is appealing to philantropists and donor to help him with this amount.
The Holy Qur'an says "Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly."(Al Baqarah 272)
The Messenger of Allah, upon whom be peace, said: "When a person dies [the benefit] of his deeds ends, except three: a continuous sadaqah, knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a pious child invoking Allah for him."(Ahmad and Muslim)
